Heart to Heart, Changing Lives One at a Time

The idea for The Bass Foundation emerged while I was watching a story on the news many years ago.  I saw people on a train distributing clothing, food, and toys to underprivileged kids, and was immediately drawn to this sense of hands-on charitable giving. I realized that it was the personal connections with our recipients that would mold us and inspire us to become the foundation that we are today. At The Bass Foundation, our volunteers interact directly with each family by tutoring or mentoring the children in the communities we serve. Letting people know that others do care is very important to us, and we want our volunteers to play a direct role in making that happen.

For the past 25 years, The Bass Foundation has grown tremendously, offering a myriad of educational, food and product support, gifting, and mentoring programs to individuals and families. Together, with you, our supporters, we have impacted and changed numerous lives and futures. We are so proud and grateful to the community for making The Bass Foundation what it is today, a giving organization affecting social change by meeting essential family needs.
